Aft er installing the control device including the speaker housing, laying the high-voltage cable and att aching the stainless
steel contact plates, the setup should be retested to ensure that it functi ons correctly. Since the integrated sensor auto-
mati cally switches off the device if the vehicle is in use, you must ensure that the car is moti onless before performing a
functi on check using a multi meter. Set "direct current – 300 V" and measure the voltage between the two stainless steel
contact plates (should read 250–300 V). If the functi on check is successful but voltage fails to build up aft er installati on,
an installati on error has occurred.
Regular green blinking (approx. every 5 seconds) = OK: ultrasound is being emitt ed, high voltage has built up.
Rapid green blinking = voltage is building up/dissipati ng. Cauti on: residual voltage!
LED off = device is switched off .
Red LED = batt ery voltage too low. Change of batt ery required.

1.
Do the butt on batt eries (CR2477) have a voltage of at least 3 V? Regular testi ng of the batt ery voltage
is recommended.
2.
Is the engine switched off ?
3.
Have all the plus stainless steel contact plates been installed so that they do not touch any other live
or earthed parts (risk of short circuit)?
4.
Is the device completely sti ll and not subject to any movement or vibrati on?
5.
Has the positi on of the stainless steel contact plates on the cable been changed, damaging the copper core?

*Switching the device on and off
Pull the slide contact (printed part)
half way out.
Changing the CR2477 batt ery
Pull the slide contact (printed part) out completely. When inserti ng the batt eries, pay att enti on to the polarity. The printed plus side of the batt ery should face
upwards so that the plus sign is visible aft er inserti on of the butt on batt ery. Push the slide contact back in, keeping it straight!
