Assembly Instructions
It is possible to order a protective cover (000 071 156D) for the scooter from
ŠKODA Genuine Accessories.
Caution. The figures in the instructions provide general informa-
tion for the scooter unfolding and folding.
When folding / unfolding the scooter, take extra care as there is a
risk of injury (pinching fingers between the individual parts of the
scooter), see Fig. 14 for the correct grip.
Suitable for children older than 10 years, under adult supervision.
If the scooter is folded / unfolded by children, the presence of an
adult is required!

Fig. 2 - Join both parts of the scooter so that the front fork locking pin
snaps (an audible click must be heard) into the handlebar stem hole
(detail).
Fig. 3 - Push the release button (H) in the direction of the arrow 1 to relievethe
rear footrest with the rear wheel and fender. Then rotate the footrest
according to arrow 2 so that it audibly clicks into the front deck.
Fig. 4 - Push and hold (1a - detail) a safety pin (H1) while moving
the button in the direction of the arrow (1a - detail) to release the fork from
the front deck (see the arrows 2, 3). Keep the release button pushed. Turn
the front fork with the handlebar stem (see the arrow 4) so that the re-
lease slider fits into the slot in the front footrest (see the arrow 5). Release
the button (H) and check the proper locking.

handlebars into the T-piece in the direction of the arrows 2 so that the
handlebar locking pins audibly click into the holes in the T-piece (see the
detail, arrows 3). Do not push the locking pins using any tools (keys, pencil,

etc.), there is a risk that they get stuck inside the scooter components.

Caution. The handlebars should be at the height of the hip joint.

Handlebars set too low cause a spasmodic forward bend which may

hurt your back. On the other hand, handlebars set too high make it

impossible to steer the scooter properly, which may be dangerous

at higher speeds.

folded down. Caution! Forcibly snapping without holding down th e
button (H) can damage the locking mechanism.

tool box under the boot mat (654 863 957 - SCALA, KAMIQ), (6VA 863

In Octavia (NX) vehicles, it is possible to place the folded scooter in the
tool box, but it is necessary to secure it properly against any movement
and unwanted noise.
