You may use either liquid or powder detergent in the washer. Follow the
detergent use instructions on the container to determine the amount of
detergent.
noTE: The proper amount of detergent depends on the size of the load, the soil
level of the clothes, and the softness of the water being supplied to the washer.

If you select the Quick cycle, it is recommended that you use a liquid laundry
detergent to achieve optimum results. Powdered detergent may not dissolve
fast enough to clean well in this cycle.
Liquid Detergent
noTE: For best results allow the liquid detergent to mix with the water before
adding laundry.
1. Start wash cycle and allow the wash basket to fill with a small amount of water
before dispensing liquid detergent.
2. Pour measured liquid detergent directly
into the detergent dispenser.
Powdered Detergent
noTE: For best results, add the detergent to the wash basket before adding laundry.
1. S tart wash cycle and allow the wash basket to fill with a small amount of water.
Add powdered detergent directly into the wash basket.
OR
In a separate container, dissolve powdered detergent in warm water and pour
the solution directly into the wash basket.
noTE: Do not pour detergent into the wash basket without first dissolving it in
water. Undissolved powered detergent may damage clothes.
