Installation
Before installing the SRCOOLTMVENT, the air conditioning unit MUST be powered down and
disconnected from the utility source.
The SRCOOLTMVENT assembly is installed on the top of the air conditioner to vent hot air out of the rack through
convection in the event that the air conditioner stops cooling.
The SRCOOLTMVENT consists of two main parts: the vent assembly and the power supply.
To install the SRCOOLTMVENT assembly:

Remove the 4 screw plugs from the top center of the
unit.

Remove the 4 panel mounting screws attaching the
sheet metal panel to the air conditioner unit.
Note: The panel and mounting screws should be saved if the
panel needs to be reinstalled.

Locate the 4-pin connector. A wire jumper will be
connected to the connector.

Remove the jumper and save with the top panel that
was removed (it is needed if the vent is removed).
Connect the harness from the SRCOOLTMVENT to the
4- wire connector on the air conditioning unit.

Lift the lid to gain sufficient access to the mounting
holes. Using the included screws, secure the
SRCOOLTMVENT to the air conditioning unit.
