6.8.- Tele-text Function
On this menu you may select all the Tele-text services provided by the service
supplier. Among them are also included the subtitles (see how to access them
on each channel).
Press the TEXT button on the remote control to enable the Tele-text menu.
The Tele-text services will be viewed in the usual way.
Even if your TV set is not provided with a Tele-text decoder, you can view it
on screen, since the receiver generates it automatically.
By pressing the OK button on the remote control, you can make the
background color of the Tele-text page more or less transparent.
To page up or page down by groups of 100, press the -
and to page up or down one page at a time, press the PR+/PR- buttons.
To leave the "Tele-text" menu, press the EXIT or TEXT buttons.
NOTE: Not all of the service suppliers will provide this type of information.
The channels that have this information available show the message
"TTX" in the information window.
6.9.- Subtitle Function
The receiver will enable you to view the subtitles of a given program, if they
are provided by the operator.
Press the
button on the remote control to access the subtitle function.
Using the -
/
+
buttons, select the type of subtitles you wish to see. The
options are "Off", "Standard" (shows the subtitles if they are being
broadcasted), and "Tele-text" (subtitles are seen on the Tele-text subtitle
page).
Within this option, it is also necessary to select the subtitle language (if
there is more than one), using the -
To leave "Subtitles", press the EXIT or SubT buttons
NOTE: The channels with this function available show the option "SubT" on
the information window.
