10.4.- Timer Setting (Timer)
Program Timer
The receiver includes a timer for automatic turning on and off at preset
times. It has 8 positions enabling the programming of a similar number of
events. You need only enter the following data.
The cursor will always appear positioned on the first free timer number by
default setting. If no event has been programmed, it will be positioned on
number 1.
Selection is carried out using the -
button on an option, and then using the PR+/PR- buttons to select an
option on the pop-up menu, and finally, confirming the selection by
pressing OK again. The options are:
- Number.- Select one of the 8 available events.
- Mode.- The "Off" mode will appear by default. You can select other modes,
such as "Once" (one time only), "Daily" (every day), "Weekly" (once a week)
or "Monthly" (once a month).
- Service.- Select the kind of service you wish to carry out with the timer. You
can select a TV or Radio program.
- Channel.- Select the desired channel for the timer.
- Date.- Select the day of the month for timer enabling.
- Month.- Select the month for timer enabling.
- Day.- Select the day of the week for timer enabling (Weekly mode only).
- Time.- Using the numerical (0 ... 9) keyboard, enter the estimated
duration time of the event.
Repeat the same steps if you wish to program other events.
If you wish to eliminate one of these events, you can do this by placing
yourself on its number, and then in option "Mode" select the "Off" option.
To memorize data and leave the menu, press the EXIT button.
Sleep Timer
This function enables you to leave the receiver on for a given period off
time, after which it will turn itself off automatically.
To do this, press the OK button on the option "Sleep Timer" on the "Timer
Setting" menu.
You can set the time to elapse before the receiver turns itself off, using
thes -

buttons. The allowed values are: Off, 10, 30, 60, 90 and
120 minutes.
In the "Remains" option, you can view the time that has gone by since
enabling the "Timer On" option.
Press the EXIT button to return to the previous menu.
