5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
The housing of KTS 515 are only to be cleaned using a
soft cloth and a neutral cleaning agent. Do not use any
abrasive cleaning agent or rough cleaning cloths.
5.2 Maintenance
The tab Customer service can be used for performing
various tests in DMC. A portion of these tests can only
be performed by customer service.
5.3 Replacement and wearing parts

The list only contains the replacement and wearing
parts included in the scope of delivery.

6. Decommissioning
6.1 Temporary shutdown
In the event of lengthy periods of non-use:

Disconnect the KTS 515 from the mains.
6.2 Change of location
¶
If the KTS 515 is passed on, all the documentation
included in the scope of delivery must be handed
over together with the unit.
¶
The KTS 515 is only ever to be transported in the
original or equivalent packaging.
¶
Unplug the electrical connection.
¶
Heed the notes on initial commissioning.
6.3 Disposal and scrapping
1. Disconnect the KTS 515 from the mains and detach

sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.

Do not dispose KTS 515 into household
waste.
The KTS 515 is subject to the European
directive 2012/19/EC (WEEE).
Dispose of used electrical and electronic
devices, including cables, accessories and
batteries, separately from household waste.
¶
Make use of the local return and collection
systems for disposal.
¶
Proper disposal of KTS 515 prevents
environmental pollution and possible
health hazards.
