3. UNPACKED
Before installation and setup, it is important to check
the casing and condition of the equipment to ensure
that it has not suffered any damages during transport.
WARNING! Claims for damage during transport
must be submitted together with a delivery note
or invoice from your dealer, including the name of the
carrier within a maximum of 24 hours after receipt of the
goods. Inside you will find: Dual Tech device and docu-
mentation.
4.CONDITIONS FOR THE CORRECT
FUNCTIONING OF THE EQUIPMENT
Unit requires 120V- 60Hz power on a 15 amp fuse or
circuit breaker.
A water pressure of 40 to 75 PSI is required for the unit
to operate correctly and safely.
Water quality may affect the performance of the device.
If you have water quality problems, such as high iron
content, please check it with a water filtration expert.
5.INSTALLATION OF THE EQUIPMENT
The installation of your Dual Tech equipment must be
carried out by sufficiently qualified personnel. Please
read this manual beforehand and consult your dealer
if in doubt.
WARNING! Work will be carried out with appro-
priate hygienic measures and conditions, taking ex-
treme precautions in all matters relating to materials and
components that will come into contact with the water to
be treated or consumed. (For more information, please
contact your distributor).
WARNING! Avoid risks of external contamination
of the equipment due to improper handling by
using gloves, hand sanitising gel or washing hands as
often as necessary during the installation, startup, and

maintenance of the equipment.

Unit must be attached to the wall, close to the washing
machine.
•
Place your mounting bracket on the wall with the tabs
facing upwards, make sure it is level and secure it with
screws.
•
Place your unit against the wall and gently slide the
unit down into locking position in the slots of the moun-
ting bracket.
•
Connect the cold water hose from your washing ma-
chine to the "To Washer" connection on the unit.
•
Using the hose supplied, connect the unit's "cold wa-
ter" connection to your cold water supply outlet.
•
You can connect a hose-tap to the direct flow connec-
tion to have an external hose for free use.
•
Plug the power adapter into the DC adapter socket
on the right side of your unit and then plug the adapter
into a wall socket.
•
Make sure that all hoses are correctly installed and ti-
ghtened. Slowly turn on the water supply and check for
any leaks or drips.
CAUTION! The hot water hose must not be discon-
nected from the washing machine hose. You can
turn the hot water off or leave it on, but the hose must be
installed on the washer to avoid any backflow of water
out of the washer during use. .
6.INDICATOR LIGHT
Indicator light, seen through the horizontal window on
the front of your unit, has two operating states.
•
Blue light: indicates normal operation of the unit.
•
Flashing red light: indicates an improper operation of
the fan or oxidation generator. Contact your dealer for
service.
7.MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Some components of your equipment,
such as the mineralisation filter, are consumables
with a limited lifetime. Their lifetime will depend on hu-
midity generated, consumption and type of use.
WARNING! In order to ensure the quality of the
water supplied by your equipment, regular mainte-
nance is required.
