• Do not let the appliance packaging and small parts get into the
hands of children or people who are unaware of how to handle
them, as hazards can arise (danger of suffocation!). Keep away
from animals.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are under the
supervision of someone responsible for their safety or have
received instruction on usage of the appliance from said person.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• Only for European markets:
This appliance can be used by children from the age of 3 and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabi-
lities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervi-
sed and have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and
have understood the resulting dangers. Children must not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
carried out by children unless they are supervised.
• Before use, carry out a visual inspection to ensure that the appli-
ance is undamaged.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly or is damaged.
• The unit must not be immersed in water. The installation site
must be protected from possible water leakage.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Children can swal-
low batteries. If the battery compartment no longer closes
properly, do not continue to use the product and keep it away
from children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attenti-
on immediately.
• Batteries must not be exposed to heat. Aviod direct sunlight
and fire.
• Check batteries regularly to avoid battery leakage. Replace
with same battery type if necessary.
• The autofeeder must not be operated with rechargeable batteries.
• Before maintenance and cleaning work on the unit, please
remove the batteries first. Before working in the aquarium,
dismount the unit and put it safety to the side.
