First use
•
Remove your boat from its packaging, when doing so avoid using sharp objects to open it. Open the
bag and pay close attention to how the accessories are packed as this is the most efficient way to
transport the boat in its storage bag.
•
Fold the boat open on a clean and flat surface.
•
Inspect the boat for possible transport damage, if there are any abnormalities report them
immediately to the seller.
•
Close the valves by turning them a quarter turn.
•
For the first use, pump the chambers evenly to pressure, start with the chamber with the air
safety valve. Do not install the bottom yet.
•
Drain the boat halfway and install the airdeck, making sure that the bottom sits well in the
edges of the boat and under the Airdeck stabilizers. Make sure the valve covers are not
caught between or under the airdeck and that the keel valve is properly centered.
•
Inflate the airdeck properly, these are designed to be inflated hard (1.00bar/14.5psi.) The correct
pressure is indicated on the valve.
•
Should there be any creases in the airdeck repeat the previous step.
•
Pressurize the remaining chambers and keel. The maximum pressure is 0.25bar/3.63psi.
•
Close the water valve.
•
Assemble paddles and the aluminum seat and any other accessories such as a motor.
Storing
•
Open the sealing caps and press on the valves, this is the first way to remove the pressure from all
chambers.
•
Remove the aluminum seat.
•
When all chambers are softer, open the valves by pushing them in and turning them a quarter turn.
•
Remove the airdeck from the boat. Drain it and fold it carefully.
•
Remove dirt and bait residue from the boat.
•
Roll all the air out of the boat. You can use the pump to get the last bit of air out.
•
Fold the tips of the boat inward against the transom and fold the tubes in half.
•
You can now roll up the boat in its entirety and store it.
Note! Make sure boat is clean and dry before storing it. If you are transporting it wet, open it when you
get home so it can dry. Remove dirt and bait residue to prevent damage by pests.
Do not overtighten the bag's tension straps to compensate for careless storage. If you store the boat
make sure the tension is off the straps of the boat for longer life.
