5.5.4.1.
SYSTEM WATER FILLING
After carrying out the plumbing connections, it is possible to fill the unit and system:

Open all the shut-off and air vent valves of the radiators - manifolds - boiler and
system.

Open the water filling cock gradually, making sure the vent valves work properly.

Fill the system slowly, to allow proper and complete evacuation of the air from
the vent, bringing the circuit under pressure (for a closed vessel system from 0,9
to 1.1 bar).

When finished, close the filling cock and make sure all vent valves have
discharged the air from the system.

To display the boiler's water circuit pressure, just press the control panel button
P5 for 3 seconds.
The creation of a heating system with installation of the boiler must comply
with all the applicable regulations in the country where the system is installed.
5.5.4.2.
DHW SYSTEM
To connect the boiler to a DHW system it is advisable to contact a competent technician in
order to best optimise the hydraulic and electrical connections, and the performance of the
entire system without compromising the unit's functionality.
For the connection to the DHW circuit, one of the following optional accessories is required:
▪ the internal boiler pump for the hot water tank,
▪ or DHW plate heat exchanger and internal pump.
On the back of the boiler there are red and black terminals "T.DHW" for the connection of
thermostats/flow switches relevant to DHW storage.
For installation/connection with these devices, follow the instructions below:
1 Turn the unit off and disconnect the power cord
2 With reference to the wiring diagram, connect the two wires of the thermostat/flow
switch
3 Once the DHW connection has been completed, it is necessary to access the
control technical menu and select the type of circuit; each specific function set:
DHW EXCHANGER/FLOW SWITCH, BOILER (S BOILER for probe S3 or T
BOILER for thermostat) appears on the display at the time of the heating/DHW
changeover with one of the messages and remains until the end of the DHW
demand.
4 Check correct operation
The terminal contacts are voltage-free and therefore must never be live.
