Cautions

ZM-SHE500 uses AES(Advanced Encryption standard) 256 bit Encryption

algorithms. Additionally, it supports higher level encryption management via

password input and Master-Key registration. If a user loses or forgets a master-

key and password, we (ZALMAN-Manufacturer) Can't rescue or recover any

data. User need to format the HDD to use it again. If ZM-SHE500 gets physical

damage or users forget "password" of their ZM-SHE500 in security mode, it's

impossible to read any data on HDD of ZM-SHE500. To support the worst

case, Lockdown generates and shows 'Master-key' info one time Via the front

LED window when a HDD is connected for the first time and user select 'security

mode' (password use). Users need to write down and keep it safe.

We consider a user who has both ZM-SHE500 and waster-key as the real

owner of the ZM-SHE500. For the emergency rescue, users have to visit our

official A/S center together with ZM-SHE500 and master-key

-Please don't move ZM-SHE500 seriously or get and shock on it during data

reading and writing. Spin motor of HDD is very sensible and easily can be

affected.

-HDD has limited product lifecycle. In case of important data, please back-up

regularly.

Please read the following instructions carefully before

using the product.

ZM-SHE500 is compatible with SATA type 2.5" HDD. The product doesn't

include a HDD. Users have to purchase and install their own 2.5" HDD (SATA

for Laptop). Zalman Inc cannot take any responsibility to any HDD failures,

users would need to contact the HDD manufacturers in relation to any HDD

malfunction.

ZM-SHE500 uses 5V/900mA from USB3.0 port.
