namon and salt until the mixture is moist. Pour the dough mixture into a greased or
paper covered muffin sheet and bake the muffins at 325 °F for 20 – 25 minutes. For a
variation, use lemon pulp and lemon juice instead of orange pulp and orange juice.

CLEANING AND CARE

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Remove the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance to sufficiently cool down
before every cleaning.
• The juicer must be disassembled for cleaning. Proceed in the reverse order from
that described under Assembly.
• The removable parts can be cleaned under warm water and with dish detergent.
• Caution! Do not touch the centrifuge blade with bare hands!
• All removable parts can also be cleaned in a dishwasher.
• Dry all parts thoroughly before using them again.
• Clean the motor unit after use with a dry or lightly dampened cloth and some de-
tergent.
• Water must not enter the motor unit.

GENERAL TIPS

• Use fresh fruit and vegetables, as these contain more juice. Pineapple, celery, ap-
ples, cucumbers, carrots, spinach, melons, tomatoes and citrus fruits are best suit-
ed for juice extraction.
• Peels and skin generally do not have to be removed. Do remove thick peels (orang-
es, pineapples, beets, et cetera) to avoid damaging the appliance. Also be certain to
remove the soft skin of citrus fruits, as these create a sour taste.
• Apples produce different kinds of juice, which vary in consistency and taste. Experi-
ment with different types of apples to discover your favorite.
• Apple juice will quickly turn brown in fresh air. Serve the apple juice immediately
after juice extraction or add a little lemon juice to it.
• Fruit which has some thickness (papayas, bananas, mangoes, et cetera) are not
suited for juice extraction, as this creates mash. Prepare these fruits in a mixer.
• Leafy vegetables (cabbage, spinach, et cetera) can be prepared in the juicer. Form
these into balls before extracting their juice.
• Serve juice immediately after extraction as juice loses its taste and important nutri-
ents when exposed to the air.
• To obtain the maximum amount of juice, slowly press the stopper downwards with
slight pressure.
• If the fruit has large pits and/or seeds, remove these before juice extraction.
• The juicer is not suited for stringy or hard fruits or vegetables (e.g. sugar cane).
