Recommendations to reduce the user's exposure to radiation
• Use your mobile phone in areas covered by your network to reduce the amount of
radiation received (especially in underground car parks or when travelling by train and
by car).
• Use your phone when there is good reception (i.e. maximum number of bars for the
network).
• Use a hands-free kit.
• During calls, keep the phone away from the tummy of pregnant women and the lower
abdomen of teenagers.
• Children and teenagers should make reasonable use of mobile phones by avoiding, for
example, night-time calls and limiting the frequency and duration of calls.
