2. Lower the collision guard (14) onto the
grass box (13) - it will keep it in place.
3. To remove the grass box (13), lift the
collision guard (14) and unhook the
grass box from the mounting bracket.
Flap down the collision guard to the
housing.
A level indicator is fitted on the
side of the grass bag.

Adjusting the Cut Height
There are 5 different cutting heights:
55 - 65 mm - large cutting height
40 - 55 mm - medium cutting height
25 - 40 mm - low cutting height
1. Hold the cutting height adjuster
(8) and move it to the correct
cutting height, as appropriate.
The correct height is around 25 – 45 mm
for a decorative lawn and around
45 –65 mm for a used lawn.
A higher cut height should be
selected for the first cut of the sea-
son.
Observe noise control and local
regulations.
Switching On and Off
1. Place the mower on a level sur-
face.
2. Lift the battery cover (6) of the
device housing and insert the
charged battery (7) along the
guide rail into the device. It
clicks audibly into place.
3. Insert the safety key (21) in the
corresponding opening (21a)
above the rechargeable battery.
4. Close the transparent cover (6)
again.
5. Before switching on, ensure that
the equipment is not in contact
with any objects.
6. To switch on, press the power
switch (17) and hold it down
while pressing the safety
switch (18) against the bow-type
handle (1). Release the power
switch (17).
7. To switch the apparatus off, let
go of the security switch (18).
After switching off the equip-
ment, the blade continues to
turn for several seconds. Do not
touch the moving blade. There
is a risk of injury.
Working with the
Lawnmower
Regular mowing encourages increased
foliation of the grass and kills off weeds at
the same time. Therefore, not only does
each mowing increase the density of the
lawn, it also produces an evenly resilient
lawn.
The first cut is to be made in around April,
at a growth height of 70 – 80 mm. In the
