6. Tune the guitar to the correct pitch.
7. Remove the back plate to gain access to the vibrato strings. Three springs
are factory installed and it's recommend that these springs are adjusted so
that the vibrato bridge plate is parallel to the top of the guitar when it is
tuned to correct pitch (see bridge tensions adjustment).
8. Tighten and lock the three hexagonal screws, loosened at point 1.
9. Use the fine tuning thumb screw to tune the guitar to the correct pitch.
Intonation adjustment
1. Loosen the hexagonal saddle screws using the supplied hexagonal
wrench.
2. Slide the saddles by hand to adjust the length of each string.
3. When the intonation is found to be correct, tighten the saddle screws back
up to ensure that its position is locked.
BRIDGE TENSION ADJUSTMENT
For best results the bridge should always be parallel to the top surface of the guitar. This position is reached by opposing
tension between the strings and the claw springs. If you replace strings, you might need to readjust the spring tension to set the
bridge to the optimal (parallel) position.
1. Make sure that the guitar is pitched correctly.
2. On the backside of the guitar: remove the screws that attach the tremolo cavity
back plate to expose the claw springs.
3. If the bridge is tilted forwards (back of bridge points up),
tighten spring tension by turning the spring screws clockwise.
If the bridge is tilted backwards (back of bridge points down),
loosen the spring tension by turning the spring screws counterclockwise.
4. Be sure to check string pitch after each adjustment to the spring tension.
5. When bridge tension has been set correctly, place back the back plate and
tighten the screws.

Inserting the battery
Press on the battery compartment cover as marked on the back of the device.
Open the compartment and insert a fresh CR2032 battery, paying close attention to the polarity. The life of the battery depends
on the conditions of use.
Note: If the device does not work as described in this manual, and you do not solve the problem by switching it off and on
again, remove the battery and reinstall it to possibly solve the problem.
Operating
1. Attach the device to your instrument via the clip.
2. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the unit on.
3. Select the tuning. Press the button repeatedly to select 'Chromatic', 'Guitar' or 'Bass' as the tuning.
▪ If you select 'Chromatic', the display will show the note name.
▪ If you select 'Guitar' or 'Bass', the display will show the string number and the note name.
4. Play a single note on your instrument, the note name or string number is displayed. The backlight changes and the
measuring range is displayed.
▪ If the backlight turns green and the gauge is centered, the note is in tune correctly.
▪ If the backlight turns blue and the indicator is pointing to the left, the tuning is too low.
▪ If the backlight turns blue and the display is pointing to the right, the tuning is too high.
5. If the unit does not detect any signal for 3 minutes after switching it on, it will switch off automatically.
