• While the coffee is being made you may remove the jug (4), as the automatic anti-drip system
stops it from dripping. Take care not to remove it for too long as the coffee in the filter holder
may overflow.
• If you wish to keep the coffee hot, leave the jug (4) on the heaingt plate (3) and keep the coffee
maker on.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Before anything, make sure the coffee maker is unplugged from the mains.
• The jug, the filter and the filter holder may be cleaned with a hot soapy water taking care to rinse
them carefully afterwards.
• To remove the filter holder (8) press from its back side in the direction indicated by the arrow and
remove it. To replace it again place it and press it downwards.
• The heating plate and the body of the coffee maker should be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened
in water.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the
surfaces of the appliance.
• To eliminate the alkaline deposits that with use may be formed in the water circuit, it is convenient
to treat it as follows:
- Pour a 50% solution of water and vinegar in the tank.
- Plug the coffee maker without any coffee and allow to flow out the half solution.
- Switch off the coffee maker and wait for 15 minutes.
- Switch on the coffee maker again and leave to flow out all the solution.
- Next, make the coffee maker work only with water for a couple of times.
