Read the instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference. Not following the instructions in this
manual may endanger the safety of your child. The Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage has been approved in
accordance with: prEN 1888:2003, BS 7409:1996.
WARNING: A CHILDS SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Children should be harnessed in at all times and should never be left unattended. The child should be clear of
moving parts while making adjustments. This vehicle requires regular maintenance by the user. Overloading,
incorrect folding may damage or break this vehicle.
WARNING: Always set the parking brake on the pushchair.
WARNING: Check to make sure all locks are secure before each use in order to avoid getting anything jammed
between parts.
WARNING: Do not hang anything from the handlebar, as this makes the pushchair less stable and will increase
the risk of tipping over.
WARNING: Always secure your child with the safety harness. Always use the crotch restraint harness together
with the lap and shoulder belts, even when using the footmuff.
WARNING: Keep all small parts (like the wheel valve caps) away from children, as they pose a choking hazard.
Make sure the valve caps are tightened securely. Also keep the hand pump out of the reach of
children.
WARNING: This product is not suitable for running or skating.
WARNING: Always make sure that the carrycot, adapters, car seat or pushchair seat is installed correctly and
securely locked before use.
WARNING: The tyres may leave black marks on some surfaces (particularly smooth floors like parquet,
laminate and linoleum).
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- The Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage is suitable for children from birth to 4 years of age (maximum weight
20 kg). When used with a Maxi-Cosi car safety seat, the maximum weight shown on the car safety seat or
carrycot applies.
- The Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage can be used for two children together.
- It is advisable to only use the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage as a buggy once your child is able to sit
unassisted.
- Always make sure that the Freestyle 4 Plus met Pluspackage is completely unfolded and that the safety locks
are properly secured before placing your child in the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage.
- Keep children away from moving parts while folding, unfolding or adjusting the Freestyle 4 Plus with
Pluspackage.
- Always use the parking brake when parking the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage, even when just standing
still.
- The bicycle-style handbrake should only be used as an extra brake. It should never be used as a parking
brake.
- Inspect and clean the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage regularly. Never use abrasive cleaners or lubricants
(containing silicone).
- Never lift the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage or use on escalator or stairs when there is a child in the
pushchair.
- Use original accessories and manufacturer-approved parts only.
- No alterations may be made to the product. If you have any complaints or problems, please contact your
supplier or importer.
- Keep all plastic packaging material out of the reach of children, as these materials pose a choking hazard.
- See the illustrations (A + B) for all possible uses of the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage.

UNFOLDING / FOLDING
Folding
- IMPORTANT: Always remove the Maxi-Cosi car seat before folding.
- Apply the brake on the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage.
- Fold up the sun canopy.
- Remove the wheels to make the pushchair even smaller.
- IMPORTANT: It is advisable to remove the sun canopy before folding the pushchair.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WITH PLUSPACKAGE (SEE ILLUSTRATIONS 1 – 10)
- Use adapter set with pushchair seat and the Maxi-Cosi car safety seat (up to 13 kg).
Fitting / removing pushchair seat
- IMPORTANT: Due to the danger of tipping, never use pushchair seat of the Pluspackage alone, but always in
combination with the other pushchair seat or the Maxi-Cosi car seat, including adapter set.
- To unfold the pushchair seat, push the back of the seat backward (see Adjusting the back) (1,1).
- Fold out the footrest (1,2).
- Fold out the support leg (1,3).
- To fold the pushchair seat, pull the back forward and fold up the footrest and support leg.
- IMPORTANT: If necessary, remove the safety bar (see Fitting/removing the safety bar).
- Set the parking brake on the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage.
- Remove both guards on the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage by pushing the button under the
adapter attachments outward (2,1) while sliding the guards upward at the same time (2,2).
- Place the pushchair seat with the built-in adapters on the adapter attachments (3,1).
