To remove the adjustable comb, put your thumb under the clasp and
push upwards [Fig. E3].
With the adjustable combs (7 or 8) attached, the appliance has 6
different hair and beard length settings:

USEFUL RECOMMENDATIONS
•
Start with the highest setting of the adjustable comb and gradually
decrease it until you have the desired hair length.
•
To achieve the best result, move the appliance against the direction
of hair growth.
•
Move the appliance in different directions (upwards, downwards
and sideways) because not all hair grows in the same direction.
•
If a lot of hair has accumulated in the adjustable comb (7 and 8),
remove the adjustable comb from the appliance and blow and/or
shake out the accumulated hair.
•
Take note of the hair length settings used to create a certain style,
as a reminder for future sessions.
Use without the adjustable comb (7 or 8)
You can use the appliance without the adjustable comb (11 and 12)
to cut hair or hairs that are very close to the skin (about 1 mm).
Achieving the "3-day stubble" effect
Using the beard trimmer U-blade head (5) without the comb (7)
creates the "3 DAY" effect and trims the beard short (to about 1 mm).
