Distribute the load on the rack evenly, and make sure the centre of
gravity is as lowest as possible.
Place small and very heavy loads on the rack to one side (never in its
centre).
If you transport bulk objects (e.g. roof boxes, bicycles, etc.), the roof
is exposed to more loading due to strongly increased air resistance,
therefore adapt the speed of your drive to the specific conditions.
If you transport load, always follow the safety rules of respective
country.
When the rack is not in use, we recommend that it is removed to
reduce wind noise, air resistance and fuel consumption, as well as
for reasons of driving safety.
Caution Always check fastening of the rack and that
of the load after short period of your drive. Provide the
same check before every drive!
Attention. At least once a year grease the lock inserts
with the recommended agent CONCOR 101.
Clean and wipe dry the roof rack after every use. Only
then put it to a suitable place.
The manufacturer does not bear responsibility for any damages
caused by improper assembling.
Safety information
Always lay the roof rack (before fitting it to the vehicle) down in a
suitable location. No transport systems may be secured to the rack.
Always fit the roof rack to the vehicle roof first and then fit
additional transport systems (e.g. ski box, bike rack, etc.).
Remove the roof rack in exactly the same way but in reverse order.
First remove the transport systems (e.g. ski box, bike rack, etc.) and
then the roof rack. Always store the roof rack in a suitable place
without any transport systems fitted to it. Never rest heavy objects
on the roof rack. Heavy objects may damage or warp the roof rack.
