5.- OPERATION:

5.1.- POWER ON/OFF THE TRANSCEIVER:

1. Press [ON/OFF/Mute] key to power on the transceiver.
2. Press and hold [ON/OFF/Mute] key to turn off the transceiver.
3. When the transceiver is powered on, press the [ON/OFF/Mute] key to mute the
speaker, LCD displays AUDIO: MT. Press the [ON/OFF/Mute] key to recover last
volume level, LCD displays AUDIO: Esc.

5.2.- CHANNEL SELECTOR KNOB:

1. Turn channel selector anti-clockwise to select down channel, turn it clockwise to up
channel.
2. Fast channel adjust: Press the channel selector to adjust channel by 10 steps each
push.
3. Key lock: Press and hold the knob to lock the keypad, except [PTT], LCD displays
Key Lock. Hold again to unlock the keypad.

5.3.- [FUNC] KEY:

1. Press [FUNC] key to switch between the 3 groups of self-define keys functions.
2. Press and hold [FUNC] key to enter background light menu.
