2. Raise or lower the upper half of the unit according to the height required. There are two stop points with spring pins setting
the lowest or highest points. The height of the upper half can be set anywhere between the lowest & the highest point. (See
photo below).
If the spring pins are engaged into the holes provided, press the spring pins in on each side and push down or pull up the handle
section to the correct height. (This may require two persons, one to press the pins and one to move the handle)
Note: DO NOT set the RS3 handle section higher than the maximum position indicated by the top hole position in the base
section where the spring pin locates.
3.One the correct height has been reached, lock the clamping levers to ensure that the handle section is securely tightened in
place. If required, the clamping lever handles can be rotated clockwise to increase the tension on the levers.
SEPARATING THE HANDLE SECTION FROM THE BASE
The RS3 Handle section can be removed from the base to allow for a more compact method of storage or ease of transportation
to a separate location. The method of separating the two parts is as follows :
1. Release both clamping levers.
