1 Make sure RDS or RDS EON
appears.

RDS appears when the station you
are tuned to is an RDS station.

RDS EON appears when the station
you are tuned to is an RDS station
even though it may not broadcast
news or information programs.
2 Press NEWS/INFO.
NEWS, INFO or NEWS and INFO
should appear on the display
(depending on which service(s) you
select). When the tuner
automatically tunes in a news or
information program or when a
news/information program begins,
the program name appears on the
display. If you don't want to listen to
the entire program, press NEWS/
INFO to switch back to the original
station.
Notes when Using EON
© A message (such as "No TA Service" or
"No News Service") appears if an EON
station rarely broadcasts a certain
program.
© "Weak signal" appears if the EON station
which the tuner automatically switched to
cannot provide RDS data due to a weak
signal.
© "Returning" appears about three minutes
after a signal from an EON station
becomes weak, preventing the station
from providing RDS data. This indicates
that the tuner is attempting to re-tune the
EON station. The tuner then stands by for
another EON broadcast.
® If you want to record a program
uninterrupted by the EON feature, make
sure you turn EON off. This is especially
important when you use a timer to
automatically start recording at a certain
time.

d'informations et/ou les
programmes:
1 Veiller 4 ce que RDS ou RDS EON
ait affiché.

RDS apparait quand la station
_ syntonisée est une station RDS.

RDS EON apparait quand la station
syntonisée est une station RDS,
bien qu'elle n'emette pas de bulletin
ou de programme d'informations.
2 Appuyez sur NEWS/INFO.
NEWS, INFO, ou NEWS et INFO
doit apparaitre sur l'afficheur (selon
le ou les services sélectionnés). S'il
n'apparait pas, appuyer de nouveau
sur NEWS/INFO pour I'afficher.
Quand le tuner accorde
automatiquement un bulletin
d'informations ou un programme
d'informations, ou quand le bulletin
ou le programme d'informations
débute, le nom du programme
apparait sur l'afficheur. Pour éviter
d'écouter tout le programme,
appuyez sur NEWS/INFO pour
revenir sur la station originale.
Remarques concernant le
réseau EON
®"No TA Service" ou "No News Service"
apparait si une station EON émet
rarement des bulletins sur la circulation ou
des nouvelles.
@ "Weak signal" apparait si une station EON
que le tuner a accordé automatiquement
ne peut offrir d'informations RDS a cause
de la faiblesse de son signal.
© "Returning" apparait environ trois minutes
aprés qu'un signal provenant d'une station
EON s'est affaibli au point que la station
ne peut plus offrir d'informations RDS. Ce
message indique que le tuner tente de
resyntoniser la staion EON.
® Pour enregistrer une émission
interrompue par la fonction EON, veiller a
mettre le fonction EON hors service.Ceci
est particulierement important quand un
progrmmateur est utilisé pour déclencher
l'enregistrement automatiquement, a un
moment prédéterminé.
