Audio signal
The audio signal can be switched on or off via the specially
designed app.
When the audio signal is switched on, the charger emits a
short tone once the specified charging cycle is complete.
When the default settings are restored (via the app), a longer
audio signal is sounded.
Restoring default settings
If the Power Boost button (6) is held down for five seconds,
the charger is restored to default settings. The Power Boost
button (6) will flash and a long audio signal is emitted.
Connectivity functions
With the Bluetooth® Low Energy Module inserted, data and
settings of the charger can be transferred between the char-
ger and a mobile device by means of Bluetooth® wireless
technology.
In conjunction with the Bluetooth® Low Energy Module, the
following connectivity functions are available for the char-
ger:
– Registration and personalisation
– Status check, output of warning messages
– General information and settings
– Management
Read the corresponding operating instructions for informa-
tion about the Bluetooth® Low Energy Module.

No Bluetooth® connection
Check whether the
Bluetooth® Low Energy Mod-

locked in place.
Switch Bluetooth® off and on
again on your mobile device.
Check the application on
your mobile device.
Check whether Bluetooth® is
activated on your mobile
device.
Check whether your mobile
device has been overloaded.
Reduce the distance
between the charger and
your mobile device.
Where possible, ensure that
there are no obstructions
(e.g. reinforced concrete,
metal doors) between the
charger and your mobile
device. Keep the equipment
away from any sources of
electromagnetic interference
(e.g. WiFi transmitters).
Practical advice
The charger with built-in Bluetooth® Low Energy Mod-
u
ule is fitted with a wireless interface. Local operating
restrictions, e.g. in aircraft or hospitals, must be ob-
served.
When the charger is used continuously, or for several con-
secutive charge cycles without interruption, the charger may
heat up. This is, however, harmless and does not indicate
that the charger has a technical defect.
A significantly reduced operating time after charging indic-
ates that the battery has deteriorated and must be replaced.
Battery cooling (Active Air Cooling)
The fan control unit integrated into the charger monitors the
temperature of the inserted battery. As soon as the battery
temperature is above approx. 0 °C, the battery will be cooled
by a fan. The fan generates a ventilation sound when
switched on.
If the fan does not run, it is defective or the battery temper-
ature is < 0 °C. This can increase the charging time.
Charging process
Power Boost mode
The Power Boost function charges batteries up to approx.
50% battery capacity in rapid charging mode. This means
batteries are ready for use sooner than if charged using the
standard charging mode.
