Be surethat lawnis clearof stones,sticks,wires,or otherobjects
whichcoulddamagethelawn moweror motor.Suchobjects
couldbe accidentallythrownby the mowerin any directionand
causeseriouspersonalinjuryto the operatorand others.
If youstrikea foreignobject,stop the motor,and removethe key.
Thoroughlyinspectthe mowerforany damage,and repairthe
damagebeforerestartingand operatingthe mower.Excessive
vibrationof the mowerduringoperationis an indicationof damage.
Theunit shouldbe promptlyinspectedand repaired.

Whenusingthe sidedischarge,the mosteffectivemowingpattern
is one that allowsthe clippingsto dischargetowardsthe uncut
part of the lawn.
DO NOTuse mowerin the rain.
Fora healthylawn,alwayscut off one-thirdor less of the total
lengthof the grass.
Forbest results,do notcut wetgrass becauseit tendsto stick
to the undersideof thedeck preventingpropermulchingor
dischargeof grass clippings.Newor thickgrass may requirea
narrowercut.
