01. For your safety
This
equipment
exclusively
1. for use in accordance with the
descriptions and safety instructions
referred to in this Manual;
2. for mowing lawn surfaces in domestic
and hobby gardens.
Any other use is considered as not being in
accordance with the legal provisions. The
user is responsible for all damage caused to
third parties and their belongings.
Unauthorized modifications to the equipment
exclude any liability on the part of the
manufacturer for resulting years.
Observe
the
safety
instructions.
As the user of this equipment, please read
these Operating Instructions carefully before
using it for the first time.
Proceed accordingly and keep them for later
reference.
Never allow children or other persons who are
not familiar with these Operating Instructions
to use the equipment. If you change
ownership, they must accompany you.
a. Before use
People using the equipment must not be
under the influence of alcohol. drugs or
medication. Persons under the age of 16 may
not use the equipment - local regulations may
establish the minimum age of users. Before
starting work, familiarize yourself with all the
equipments and controls, as well as their
functions. Store fuel only in containers
specifically intended for this purpose and
never near heat sources. Refuel only
outdoors, never while the engine is running or
hot. Replace damaged exhausts, fuel tanks,
or caps.
Check:
- that the grass collection bag works and that
the ejection flap closes properly. Replace
damaged
or
missing
immediately.

entire cutting unit are worn or damaged.
Damaged, worn or missing parts must be
replaced immediately in a specialist workshop
together to avoid imbalances in the machine.

b. When using the equipment
When working with or on the equipment you
must wear suitable work clothes, e.g. safety
boots, long pants, close-fitting clothing, safety
goggles.
All safety equipment must be
attached to the equipment, complete and in
perfect working order.
Do not make any changes to the safety
equipment. The equipment must only be
operated when it is in perfect technical
condition.
Never change the factory settings of the
motor.
Avoid naked flames, the formation of sparks,
and do not smoke.
c. Before
intervention
equipment
To prevent injury, before any intervention
(e.g. maintenance and tuning work) and
transportation (e.g. lifting or carrying) on this
equipment
1) turn off the engine
2) wait until all moving parts have come
to a complete stop and the engine has
cooled down
3) disconnect the spark plug terminal
from the engine to avoid unintentional
starting.
