GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
E-scooter running in: your e-scooter will work longer and better if it is properly run-in. The
control brake cables and axle nuts may loosen when using a new electric scooter for the first
time and may require adjustment. We recommend that the brakes and axle nuts be checked
and adjusted if necessary every 30 days.
If you keep revving the engine to its maximum speed and keep driving at full throttle, you will
quickly drain the battery and reduce its life. We recommend that you start slowly and when you
get up to speed, reduce the throttle by 1/4 turn.
If an impact occurs:
A CRASH OR OTHER IMPACT MAY SUBJECT THE COMPONENTS TO
UNUSUAL PRESSURE WHICH MAY CAUSE THEM TO FAIL. SUCH COMPONENTS MAY THEN
SUDDENLY AND FATALLY FAIL, CAUSING LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL, SERIOUS INJURY, OR
DEATH. First, find out if you are injured and if so, seek medical help.
If your electric scooter is damaged, check the functionality of all systems. If you are unable to
remove the defects or if some parts are bent or discolored or otherwise damaged, contact an
authorized service center.
IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE CONDITION OF YOUR ELECTRIC
SCOOTER OR ITS PARTS, DO NOT USE IT. CONTACT AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
The result of technological progress is increasingly complex and complex components. The
pace of technological progress is constantly accelerating. This ongoing revolution makes it
impossible for this manual to provide all the information needed to properly repair and/or
maintain your electric scooter. It is necessary to minimize the likelihood of an accident and
possible injury, so it is extremely important that you ensure quality repair or replacement of
damaged parts and that your electric scooter is regularly serviced.
Local bicycle retailers that have service capabilities in your area may be able to assist you
with certain non-electrical repairs or modifications for which you are not qualified or do not
have the specialized tools required for the repair.
The fact that these electric scooters have no internal combustion engine, no gears or belts or
chains, no clutch or spark plugs or carburettor and need no petrol or any lubricants means
they are essentially maintenance free. The unique design of the direct drive system and the
use of a regenerative commutator braking system limit all friction in electric scooters to only
two bearings in the front axle and two bearings in the motor, making them very easy to
maintain compared to other electric scooters.
In general, regular maintenance means:
- Adjust the brakes
- Check the nuts and bolts
- Check the tire pressure
