INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - IMPORTANT
- Read the following instructions carefully before installing it and keep them safe for future consultations.
- The wall lamp has been constructed with watertightness regulation IP44, making it suitable for outdoor
use.
- For installation and/or use in accordance with the appropriate electric codes and regulations. If you
have any queries, please consult a qualifi ed electrician.
- The detector will not function if the current applied is incorrect or if it is not properly connected to its
power supply.
- The sensor's ability to detect may be reduced or cancelled if certain materials are applied or the optic
system is manipulated intentionally. NEVER attempt to repair the sensor.
- It does not function with devices that have a regulator.
- Switch off the current before you begin installing it and always follow current national legislation regar-
ding installation and the prevention of accidents
POSITIONING
When choosing the place where you are going to install the sensor, keep the following points in mind:
1. The optimum use of the sensor occurs when it is mounted at a min. of 2 and a max. of 2.50 metres
above the ground.
2. Check that you are going to position the sensor on a stable and solid surface.
3. Avoid installing it near trees, shrubs or other objects, as this may cause it to switch on unnecessarily
in windy weather.
4. The sensor will not detect movement if it occurs behind closed doors, walls, fl oors and other parti-
tions, such as screens, windows, blinds, etc.
5. Avoid installing it near heat sources, as this may cause it to switch on unnecessarily.
6. Avoid aiming the sensor at areas or objects with highly-refl ective surfaces or which are subject to
rapid changes in temperature, such as swimming pools.
7. Do not aim the sensor at direct points of light, such as the sun or lamps, as it will not function when
you programme the lux control level
8. Do not install it in areas where electromagnetic disturbances are detected.
9. The sensor works correctly when it operates within the detection zone: it is more sensitive the detec-
tion zone is crossed than when it is entered from the front.
ADJUSTING THE LIGHT CONTROL - LUX (fi g. 2)
The Lux control module includes a detection device that detects light and darkness.
You can confi gure the lamp so that it only functions at the desired level by adjusting the LUX
ADJUSTING THE TIMER (fi g. 2)
The time that the lamp should be on after it has been activated can be controlled between 10±5 se-
conds to 4±1 minutes. Turn the button clockwise to reduce the time.
