Installation and Operation
Transmitter
1. SERVICE: USB Micro-B port for firmware update.
2. HDMI OUT: Connect to a local HDMI display using an HDMI cable (not included).
3. HDMI IN: Connect to an HDMI source device using an HDMI cable (not included).
4. CAT OUT: Connect the receiver unit using a single Cat.6 or above cable for all data signals. Please
do not connect to a network port.
5. Data Signal LED (yellow):
- Illuminates when HDMI signal is with HDCP
- Flashes when HDMI signal is without HDCP
- Remains off when there is no HDMI signal
6. Link Signal LED (green):
- Illuminates when Transmitter and Receiver are connected
- Flashes when the connection between Transmitter and Receiver is poor
- Remains off when Transmitter and Receiver are not connected
7. Connect to a PC using the supplied USB Type A / B cable.
8. DC 12V: Connect the supplied 12V 1A power supply to an AC wall outlet and securely connector to
the Transmitter or Receiver. This is only required at one side of the installation.
9. EDID: Use the DIP switches to set up the EDID (1 indicates DIP switch UP, 0 indicates DIP switch
DOWN).
11 – EDID is copied from the display connected to the Receiver
10 – EDID preset 4K60Hz 2.0CH
01 – EDID preset 1080p 2.0CH
00 – EDID is copied from the display connected to the HDMI OUT port on the Transmitter
