7. Transportation
After transportation, make sure there is no external damage to the pump. Do not pull on the power
cord when transporting or moving the pump.
8. Connection
WARNING! Before installing and using the pump, make sure that the characteristics indicated on the plate on the
pump body correspond to your order and your needs.
8.1. general instructions
a) It is recommended to use plastic pipes of a certain rigidity or metal. b) When using plastic pipes, avoid
bends.
c) Pack the pipes well (air suction has a negative effect on the pump).
d) The suction main should pass at an angle to the source of about 3 degrees relative to the
horizon, have a non-return valve and a filter.
e) The end of the suction line must be immersed in water no less than two pipe diameters, it must be located at a
depth of no more than half the pipe diameter from the bottom of the tank.
f) On the pressure main, it is necessary to install a non-return valve that closes quickly, to prevent water shocks, it is
adjustable.
g)
Fasten the pipes so that the pump does not feel the load from the
pipes. h) Avoid a large number of turns and bends in the pipes.
i) If the length of the suction main is more than 4 meters, use pipes with a large diameter to obtain better characteristics.
WARNING! The reverse slope adversely affects the start-up and operation of the pump. It is advisable to install a
control pressure gauge and a pump inlet valve along with the regulating valve and the pump.
8.2. Installation
a) The pump should be placed on a flat surface as close as possible to the water source.
b) When placing the pump, observe the minimum allowable distances for safe operation and maintenance.
c) Use pipes of the appropriate diameter. Please note that the inlet and outlet have different diameters.
d) Using a punch, mark 4 holes for attaching the pump.
e) Drill a hole with a diameter of 12 mm, fasten the pump with a dowel or bolts. f) Check the correct positioning of
the pump, connect the pipes.
8.3. Pipes
a) Use a pipe support.
b) Install a non-return valve on the pressure line between the outlet of the pump and the tap in the
following cases:
-
when the pipes are long;
-
when a large e.gr;
-
when the pump works automatically;
-
when water is pumped into the tank;
-
when the pumps are running in parallel.
c) Install an effective non-return valve to avoid water hammer. d)
Suction system:
-
suction magThe shot must have an inclination to prevent air jams;
-
suction magThe shot should be as straight and short as possible.
