shut the unit off before removing
or installing the blower tubes.
Installing the Flex Tube
1.
Place a hose clamp over the end
of the flex tube (Fig. 1).
2.
Slide the end of the flex tube with
the clamp on it over the elbow
tube and tighten the screw on the
hose clamp (Fig. 1).
Installing the Upper Blower
Tube
1.
Place a hose clamp over the
other end of the flex tube (Fig. 2).
2.
Slide the end of the hose with the
clamp on it over the top end of
the upper blower tube and
tighten the screw on the hose
clamp (Fig. 2).
Installing
the Lower
Blower
Tube and
Nozzle
1.
Insert the bump on the upper
blower tube into the bump slot
on the lower blower tube (Fig. 3).
2.
While holding the upper blower
tube, twist the lower blower tube
clockwise
until it locks into place
(Fig. 3).
3.
Insert the bump on the lower
blower tube into the bump slot
on the nozzle (Fig. 4).
4.
While holding the lower blower
tube, twist the nozzle clockwise
until it locks into place (Fig. 4).
The completed
blower tube should
look like Figure 7.

Secure the Throttle
Cables
Place a zip tie around the elbow tube
and the throttle cables, as shown (Fig. 5).
Tighten the zip tie, making sure not to
crimp the cables.

Adjusting
the Throttle
Grip
1.
Move the throttle grip to a location
on the upper blower tube that
provides the best grip (Fig. 6).
2.
Using a T-20 Torx ®screwdriver,
tighten the two screws at the
bottom of the throttle grip (Fig. 6).
