6. MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
TURN OFF all power switches before maintenance is performed.
Do not start the cleaning procedure before 5 minutes to stop the
unit
Put on the gloves for prevent from injury when handling the unit.
Do not operate the system without the air filter to protect the
element of the total heat exchanger against being clogged.
NOTE:
Clean up the heat exchanging element more than once two years
Clean up the air filter more than once a year.
6.1. AIR FILTER CLEANING KPI-(252~2002)(E/H)2E
MODELS
Step 1:
Pull back the hinges, open the service cover and remove the
cover.

Step 2:
Draw out the air filters which are located at the bottom left and
right part, close to the total heat exchanger element.

Step 3:
Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the dust. To remove stubborn
dirt, use warm water (30~40ºC) with addition of a house hold
detergent, if necessary. Drying should be done on a plat surface.
Do not rub or bring.
Compressed air blowing in opposite direction of filter airflow can
also be used.

CAUTION
Never wash the filters in very hot water and never wash them by
rubbing them.
Do not dry the filters by exposing them to a flame.

Press the RESET switch of the remote control switch.
6.2. AIR FILTER CLEANING KPI-3002H2E MODELS
Step 1:
Open the Filter Access Door and pull out the filters.
Step 2:
Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the dust. To remove stubborn
dirt, dissolve some neutral detergent in cold or lukewarm water,
wash the filters by pressing on them in the water, take them out
and leave them to dry.
