and keep

Locating the unit:
Because the CP-1055F

it is very sensitive to vibrations,
temperature
changes,
humidity, dust, and other environmental
factors.
To
assure that you enjoy all the benefits of this fine
turntable, observe the following points when
selecting
its location:
To prevent howling, avoid places subject to vibrations,
particularly those from the speakers.
Also, be sure
the dust cover and body are not touching the audio
rack or any other object.
Select a sturdy, level spot; even a slight inclination
may significantly affect tracing accuracy.
Avoid
places exposed to direct sunlight, heat producing
appliances, dust, and high humidity.
Always close the dust cover when the unit is not being
used.
Care and Maintenance
1. Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush to
prevent the accumulation of dust.
From
time to time, the dust cover and turntable
cabinet should be wiped with a soft, dry cloth.
Furniture wax, insecticides, volatile compounds,
and
chemical cloths can damage the surface.
. When
the unit is shipped again, remove the counter-
weight and turntable platter and fix the tonearm to
the
