1. Insert the battery (1) into the glue gun slot and press the
battery until you hear the "click" of the lock/unlock
button (2). At this point the battery is fully secured;
2. To remove, press the lock/unlock button and pull out
the battery.
Use VITO's 20V lithium-ion batteries.
1. Place the battery in the charger as you would place it in
the machine;
2. Plug the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and the
charger can be hot, but this does not mean that they are
malfunctioning.
Let the battery cool down before fitting into the machine.
1. Insert a glue stick into the glue stick chamber (5) at the
back of the gun;
2. Gently press the trigger (3) to fix the glue stick firmly in
position to its maximum possible extent.
On first use, the glue stick may be fully inserted into the
gun. A second glue stick may be required.
While operating the glue gun you must consider some
precautions and procedures of use:
▪ Hold the glue gun with both hands;
▪ The glue gun is not designed to run continuously;
▪ If the machine overheats, remove the battery pack and
let it cool down before using it again;
▪ Turn off the glue gun immediately if any of the following
problems arise:
- Leakage of lubricant through the ventilation slots;
- Damage on the housing;
- Damage on the ON/OFF switch;
- Appearance of smoke or a burning smell.
1. Set the "ON/OFF" switch (7) to the "I" position;
2. The working temperature LED indicator light (6) turns on;
3. Wait 3 minutes for the gun to heat up;
4. Press the trigger (3) so that the melted glue comes out
of the nozzle;
5. To switch off, release the trigger and set the switch to the
"0" position.
Let the glue gun cool down before storing it.
