This generator produces a very high voltage that can result in burns, electrocution,
serious injury or death.
• Never handle the generator, electrical devices or any cable if it is in contact
with water, or if you are barefoot or have wet hands or feet.
• Keep the generator dry. Never operate the generator under rain or wet conditions.
• Never connect electrical devices that have worn or bare wires to the generator. Never
touch bare wires or plugs.
• Do not allow a child or unqualified person to use the generator. Keep children at least 3
meters away from the generator, at all times.
• If the generator is an emergency power source, notify the utility company.
• If you connect the standby generator to a building's electrical system, ask a qualified
electrician to install a transfer switch. Failure to isolate the generator from the mains may
result in serious injury or death.
• The total length of electrical extensions or mobile distribution networks used in the
generator, cannot exceed 60m for cables with a section of 1.5mm2, and 100m for cables with
a section of 2.5mm2
• The generator set must not be connected to other power sources, except accessories
recommended by the manufacturer or other generators of the same model.
• Keep these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who
can use this product. If you borrow this equipment, please also give this manual.
The generator must be properly grounded to avoid electrocution.
• Use the generator on level surfaces.
• For proper grounding, always connect the ground terminal to the chassis.
Use this unit as intended. Misuse can lead to serious injury.
• Do not ignore any safety devices. The moving parts are covered with guards. Make sure
they are all in place.
• Never transport or make adjustments to this unit while it is in operation.
• Never insert objects through the cooling slots.
Never operate this equipment if parts are damaged or missing. Use only replacement

• Improper treatment of the generator can damage it and shorten its life.
• Repair this unit as specified in this manual. If in doubt, contact your dealer or consult a
qualified service center.
• Turn off the generator if there is no power outlet, or if the unit vibrates excessively or
begins to smoke, spark or ignite flames.
The fuel is flammable. Do not refuel while the generator is running, if you are smoking
or near a flame. Avoid spilling fuel.
The user must comply with the electrical safety regulations applicable to the location
where the generator set is used.
