- Página 6 4. Start-up Procedure and Operation 4.1 Cleaning Sanitize Prior to First Use: Before first use, disassemble and boil all parts of the Go-Cups in water for 10 minutes. • Be sure to use enough water to keep all parts afloat while boiling. • Do NOT boil Tubing or Tubing Adapter.
- Página 7 Do not use a dish towel to rub or pat items dry because doing so may transfer germs to the items. Rumble Tuff also provides a Drying Mesh Bag for your convenience. • Wash in dishwasher (maximum once per day) 1. Place the disassembled parts, except for the tubing, on the top rack or in the cutlery section.
- Página 8 6. Tubing • Wipe the outside of the Tubing with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid getting water or other fluids inside the Tubing. • If liquid is found inside the Tubing, rinse the Tubing with clean, hot water. Hang to AIR DRY COMPLETELY BEFORE USING. Do NOT insert any object into Tubing. 7. Lip Valve • Rub gently between fingers in warm soapy water. • Rinse thoroughly. CAUTION: Do not use cleaning brush inside valves as this may damage the valve and shorten its life span.
- Página 9 • Store safely. Place reassembled Go-Cups in a clean, protected area. Tubing Cleaning Instructions: • Rumble Tuff breast pump tubing is designed not to touch the pumped milk and does not need to be cleaned routinely. • If the tubing has water droplets in it, disconnect it from the Go-Cups, and inspect the diaphragm for damage.
- Página 10 4.2 Assembly Firmly insert one-way valve into bottom of breast shield. Place diaphragm on top of breast shield. Press around edge of diaphragm completely for secure fit. Note: Verify the Lip Valve split is functioning normally by rubbing with fingers before pumping. This prevents milk from backing up.
- Página 11 Confirm Breast Shield base is properly aligned with guides on cup. Make sure the small triangular marks on top of them are lined up with each other. Put the Cup and the Breast Shield together Press down the breast shield into the cup.
- Página 12 4.3 Placement In Bra Center nipple in flange and make sure there is a complete seal between the flange and skin. The Go-Cups can be worn under your regular nursing bra. Your bra will hold the collection cup in place. If you find it uncomfortable or painful during use, try switching to a looser, more stretchy nursing bra.
