Safety, performance, and dependability have been given
top priority in the design of your telescopic power scrubber.
INTENDED USE
The telescopic power scrubber is intended to be used only
by adults who have read and understood the instructions
and warnings in this manual, and can be considered
responsible for their actions.
The product is intended for cleaning exterior and interior
surfaces. It can be used with water.
The product is supplied with a 15 cm medium bristle nylon
brush, ideal for use on brick, concrete, glass, barbecue
grills, grouting, linoleum fl ooring, tiling, masonry, outdoor
furniture, plastic piping and guttering, cladding and wood;
and a 15 cm foam head ideal for automotive cleaning.
Use only RYOBI detergents listed below. Do not use other
chemicals. They may damage internal components of the
product and void your warranty.
Stone detergent (RAC731)
Foam detergent (RAC732)
Universal detergent (RAC733)
Do not use the product in any way other than those stated
for intended use.
WARNING! Read all safety warnings, instructions,
illustrations and specifications provided with this
power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below
may result in electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
SCRUBBER SAFETY WARNINGS
CAUTION! The product must not be used on a drinking
water supply without a backfl ow preventer being installed
that corresponds to EN 12729 Type BA. Water fl owing
through a backfl ow preventer is not considered drinkable.
Do not connect the product to the public drinking water
network.
Always close the battery cover and lock it in place
before use. Do not expose the battery pack to rain or
wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase
the risk of electric shock.
Inspect the hoses for damages and leaks before use.
Have damaged hoses repaired or replaced.
Remove the battery pack from the product after use and
before carrying out user maintenance.
Ambient temperature range for tool during operation is
between 0°C and 40°C.
Ambient temperature range for tool storage is between
0°C and 40°C.
The recommended ambient temperature range for the
charging system during charging is between 10°C and
38°C.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
The product can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. The product shall not be
left unattended while it is connected to the battery pack.
Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
The product will shut down if overloaded. Press the
on/off switch and wait 30 seconds before restarting.
Do not direct the liquid from the product towards
equipment containing electrical components.
Do not use the product if it has been dropped, if there
are visible signs of damage, or if it is leaking.
Do not use non-rechargeable batteries.
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the
product before being charged.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product
and safely disposed of.
If the product is to be stored unused for a long period,
remove the battery.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Do not expose the product or battery to excessive
temperatures.
Be aware of the risk of terminals of the product or battery
being short-circuited by metal objects.
Do not use non-rechargeable batteries in place of
rechargeable batteries.
Do not use modified or damaged batteries.
ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS
To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product
damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your
tool, battery pack, or charger in fluid or allow fluid to
flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such
as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach
or bleach-containing products, etc., can cause a short
circuit.
Ambient temperature range for battery during use is
between 0°C and 40°C.
Ambient temperature range for battery storage is
between 0°C and 20°C.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national
provisions and regulations.
Follow all special requirements on packaging and labelling
when transporting batteries by a third party. Ensure that
no batteries can come in contact with other batteries
or conductive materials while in transport by protecting
exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps or
tape. Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leaking.
Check with the forwarding company for further advice.
