ZCO-900 CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR
COMPATIBILITY
This Carbon Monoxide detector works with the Smart
Bridge and the ICS-2000 to give additional functionality
like receiving push notifications when Carbon Monoxide
is detected. NOTE: For receiving push notifications, a fully
working internet connection is required. Replace the
detector max 10 years after production date.
The production date can be found on the battery label
inside the sensor
PLACING CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR
• The detector must be placed at a horizontal distance
between 1 and 3 meters from the CO source (boiler,
geyser, central heating system, gas heater).
• Ensure that the detector is placed centrally in the room.
• Place the detector at least 30 centimeters from
surrounding walls.
• The detector must be placed at breathing level in the
bedroom (this is the height at which you sleep)
• Always comply with local legislation regarding installation
in buildings.
• Do not place the detector in or under a cabinet
• Do not place the detector where it is obstructed by
curtains or furniture.
• Do not place the detector in a damp room.
• Do not place the detector next to existing air inlets or
outlets or other objects on the ceiling.

TESTING AND USAGE
• Always test the CO detector with the test mode after
installation and then once a week. Replace the CO alarm
immediately if the test fails.
• Replace the battery immediately when the CO alarm
indicates that the battery is low. (up to 3 years of battery
life) (See LED function table)
• Never use water, cleaning agents or solvents to clean the
CO detector as this may damage the device.
• If the CO detector is damaged, replace it immediately.
• The CO alarm will not warn residents with a hearing
impairment. It is recommended to install special CO
detectors to warn people with hearing difficulties.
• Use only a CR123A 3.0V lithium battery. Other batteries
can cause unreliable operation.
• When the battery is removed, the CO alarm will no
longer work.
• Press the test button to check the operation after
replacing the battery.
If you suspect that there is a CO leak, open the doors
and windows to ventilate. If possible, switch off all fuel-
driven devices, leave the premises and call professional
help.
