1. REMOVE BATTERY PULL STRIP

Remove the detector from the mounting bracket by twisting it.

Pull the battery pull strip out of the CO detector. After removing the battery pull strip, the CO detector will beep and will
warm up (can take up to 2 min). (See LED function table)
2. INDICATORS
The CO detector contains an LED indicator light to indicate the status. Look below for the meaning of the different LED
indications.
