Soleplate
Starch and other types of residues may be easily removed from the soleplate with a damp
cloth. Do not use nickel balls to clean the soleplate or place the iron on rough surfaces to
avoid scratching the soleplate finish. If synthetic fabrics are ironed at high temperature, both
the fabric and the soleplate of the iron could be damaged. The best way to remove synthetic
residue from the soleplate is to heat it up and iron over an old cotton rag.
Warning
Do not use steam iron cleaners with this iron since they could damage its parts.
Storage
-
Disconnect the iron from the mains supply.
-
Empty the tank by turning the iron upside down and gently shaking it.
-
Allow the iron to cool down completely.
-
Wind the power cord around the base of the iron.
-
Store the iron in a vertical position.
