glass; it may be damaged. When cooking microwave,
use only compatible containers and food.
Do not use the oven if there is any damage to the door or
its seals.
If smoke or some burning smell comes out of the oven,
immediately stop any operation, unplug the oven and
leave the door closed to stifle any flames.
Be careful when handling freshly-cooked food as they
may be very hot. After having cooked baby food, mix it
to uniform the temperature.
Do not eat food heated or cooked in microwave until at
least 3 minutes from finishing the operation.
To avoid any danger due to the exposure to
microwaves, do not tamper with the oven and/or
remove any part of it. Only qualified personnel can fix
the unit.
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running.
Do not place the oven in water or other liquids, avoiding
splashing of liquids.
A safety device stops the emission of waves when the door is opened. Anyway, it is preferable to stop
cooking before opening. The safety device does not allow the ignition when the door is open.
INSTALLATION
Remove all packaging materials from the cooking compartment.
The oven is very heavy, put it on a solid and stable surface.
When the oven is in use, leave enough space at both sides of it.
Do not use the oven as a shelf support for objects or as a place to store food, pots, containers, etc. ..
Place oven at distance from radios or TV, as microwaves can interfere with electronic equipment.
CAUTION: do not remove protection layer (see beside figure) placed on the microwaves exit hole (8).
NON-SUITABLE CONTAINERS
Items made of the following materials cannot be placed inside the oven when it is used as a
microwave. In fact, microwaves can be rejected by some surfaces, causing the dangerous
overheating of the oven.
-
Metals
-
Crystal glass and glass containing lead
-
Aluminum containers and/or layers
-
Plastic containing melanine
Porcelain and pottery containing metals or with metal finishing (such as gold, silver etc...).
-
-
Sharp-edge objects.
CAUTION: some plastic containers suitable for microwave cooking cannot be used with "grill" or
"combined" function, as they may be subject to deformations or even liquefaction.
Never use plastic containers for traditional oven cooking. Only Pyrex containers can be used with both
microwave and convection cooking.
Example: pasta, potatoes, meat and fish, which require browning, can only be cooked in a single Pyrex
container, passing from initial microwave cooking to final grill browning stage.
