4.2- Operator
The operator, after having prepared the instrument and turned on same, carries out the foreseen con-
trols, without the necessity for any further interventions.
4.3- Use foreseen
The instrument is utilized as a tensiometer to control the strains on assembled lenses and as a Lens
Reader, to check the initialling of the lenses.
4.4- Safety warnings
- The instrument must be used by qualified personnel and nevertheless same must be informed on
existing dangers, with particular regard to electric shock;
- Do not use the machine near inflammable material or gas.
- Do not open or disassemble instrument.
5- INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATOR
5.1- Control commands and units
The use of the JOLLY instrument foresees that test light turns on through main switch (1) with a
voluntary action.
Tensiometer
Place the glasses between the two filters (3) and (4), checking the eventual strains present on the
assembled lens.
