• Attach the chain to the pinion and position the bar - WARNING - MAKE SURE THE CHAIN
ADJUSTMENT PEG IS CORRECTLY INSERTED INTO THE BAR HOLE
• Replace the pinion housing and screw on the two nuts without tightening them.
• Tighten the central chain tension adjustment screw and check that the tension is correct.
• Using protective gloves, pull the chain downwards and check that the chain guide links are
still visible at half height at the bottom of the bar.
• If the guide links are fully visible when pulling down the chain, or if they are not visible at all,
the tension is not correct - repeat the adjustment.
• Tighten the two nuts and check the chain tension again.
• Fill the oil tank as specified in paragraph 14.5.
• Insert the battery into the special location of the chainsaw until it clicks, checking that it is
locked.
