PLUG IN THE CHAIR AND POWER IT ON
1. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120-volt outlet.
2. Turn the power switch on the rear of the chair to ON.

INSTALL BATTERIES IN THE BATTERY BACKUP SYSTEM
Your Super Novo 2.0 comes with a battery backup system, which enables you to incline one time to exit the chair in the
event of a power failure (batteries not included). You will need four high-quality 9V alkaline batteries to power the battery
backup system.
To install the batteries:
1. Remove the battery compartment lid from the rear plastic shroud.
2. Attach one 9V battery to each of the four battery connectors.
3. Arrange the batteries so the wires are all facing toward the front of the chair.
4. Install the batteries into the battery compartment.
5. Install the battery compartment lid.

IMPORTANT: Replace the batteries after each use, or once a year if unused.
