PARTS OF THE IRON.
FILLING WATER.
- Set the temperature regulator to minimum.
- If the iron is plugged in, unplug it.
- Pour the water into the tank with your glass. Never beyond the "Maximum" signal.
Use only normal distilled water.
- ATTENTION:
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT.
- Place the iron upright and unplugged.
- Depending on the type of garment to be ironed, set the desired temperature.
- Plug the iron.
- Once the indicator light goes out, you can begin ironing.
- The indicator will go on and off as need to recover temperature.
- If with the hot iron and the indicator off you select a lower temperature,
you should wait until the indicator lights up and then goes off again to start ironing.
STEAM IRONED / SPRAY.
- Make sure there is enough water in the tank.
- Select the desired temperature.
- Set the desired amount of steam with the steam selector.
- If you want a strong blow of steam, press the steam button.
- To spray water on clothing, press the spray button.
- For optimum steam, iron when the pilot is off. With the pilot on,
the temperature is low and the iron can release water instead of steam.
NOTE.
- If you select too low a temperature, the iron can release water instead of steam.
Steam ironing is only for ironing at high temperatures.
- With strong strokes of steam, the resistance tends to cool faster,
so wait warm-up time between strokes of steam.
