► If the device will not be used for a longer period, switch the device
off and remove the batteries.
► Empty batteries must be removed from the device and disposed of
according to local regulations.
► The batteries must be removed from the device before its disposal.
► You are legally obliged to dispose of batteries at your dealer or col-
lection points provided by the waste authorities responsible.

► Ensure no foreign bodies, such as paper clips, rubber bands, etc.

Intended Use
The bank note validator (subsequently referred to simply as the device) serves
to control bank notes with regard to the most important security features. Any
other use is considered unintended use. Unauthorised modification or recon-
struction is not permitted. Under no circumstances open the machine or com-
plete any repair work yourself.
