Advanced Driving Operation
Execute an End-Of-Row Zero-Turn (Figure 21)
The 'zero-turn' function of your zero-turn riding mower lets
you turn around at the end of a cutting row. You do not need
to stop and do a three-point-turn to start a new row.
For example, to do a left end-of-row zero turn:
1.
Slow down at the end of the row.
2.
Move the RIGHT ground speed control lever forward.
At the same time, move the LEFT ground speed control
lever back to Neutral, then back from Neutral.
3.
Begin to mow forward again.
This turns the mower around to overlap the row that was just
cut without the need to back up.

Mowing Operation
1.
Make sure that the operator is in the operator seat, the
parking brake is engaged, and the ground speed control
levers are locked in the START / PARK position.
2.
Make sure that the PTO switch is in the OFF (down)
position.
3.
Start the unit. See Start the Unit.
4.
Set the mower cutting height to the desired position. See
Cutting Height Adjustment.
5.
Set the mower blade speed and ground speed to the
desired positions. See Display / Control Console.
6.
Disengage the parking brake. See Parking Brake
Operation.
7.
Engage the mower blades: Pull up on the PTO switch.
8.
Move the ground speed levers in from the START /
PARK position to the Neutral ('N') position.
9.
Start the mowing operation. See Operator Safety and
Driving Operation for tips on safe mowing and driving
operation practices.
10. When finished, disengage the mower blades: Push down
on the PTO switch.
11. Stop the unit. See Stop The Unit.
