3. To release the clamping nut, lock the spindle and
unscrew
the
clamping
counterclockwise with the spanner wrench.
Mounting Hubbed Accessories
Wire cup brushes, wire wheels, and hubbed abrasive
discs screw directly onto the spindle without the use
of the supplied flanges.
1. Securely tighten the accessory to the tool by holding
the spindle lock and turning the hub of the accessory
clockwise with the proper wrench (not supplied) until
it is secure, then release the spindle lock.
2. To remove, reverse the above procedure.
Use
Switching On and Off
Note: The tool comes with a controlled slow-start
safety feature to reduce the reactions on the user and
the accessory.
Paddle ON/OFF Switch
1. To turn the tool on, rotate the trigger safety toward the
rear of the tool.
2. Squeeze the paddle trigger.
3. While the tool is running, the trigger can be held in the
"on" position at various positions along the paddle
without maintaining pressure on the safety.
4. To turn the tool off, release the paddle and the safety.
The trigger will return to the off position with the
safety automatically engaged.

A. Release
If the grinder does not operate in this matter, remove
the battery and send the tool to an Authorized Service
Center.
Working Instructions
1. Always ensure the proper guard is in use.
2. Before touching the workpiece, allow the tool to reach
full speed. Do not force the tool, often times the
weight of the tool is enough to properly remove
material. The tool works best at higher speeds,
forcing the tool reduces the material removal rate and
the life of the accessory.
Removal of lead based paint is not recommended. If it
is unknown whether the surface has lead, only use
dusk masks or respirators suitable for working
around lead paint dust and fumes.
