SLUSH MAKING
1.
First, find a stable, waterproof surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure
the cord is away from any water source. DO NOT place the PROFESSIONAL FROZEN SLUSH
MACHINE near the edge of a table or countertop. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.
2.
Remove the Blending Chamber Lid by turning it counterclockwise and lifting it from the top.
3.
Place the Blending Auger over the Cooling Cylinder.
4.
Ensure that the Dispensing Knob is in the closed position (to the
right) to avoid spillage and that the drip tray is in place.
5.
Add your choice of Soda, Juice, or other liquid ingredients for frozen slush to the
Blending Chamber. DO NOT exceed the MAX fill line on either side of the Blender
Chamber. The maximum capacity in the blending chamber is 12 cups (96 oz).
NOTE: Beverages such as diet sodas, sugar-free drinks, or alcohol will
not freeze. Do not use these beverages in this machine.
6.
Return the Lid to Blending Chamber, making sure it is fitted properly and
turned clockwise to lock down securely to the clear mixing chamber.
NOTE: The slush maker will not operate unless the lid is properly locked in place.
7.
Using the PLUS and MINUS buttons on the control panel, set the proper amount
of time for slush production according to your recipe. NOTE: There are many
factors that affect freeze time such as temperature and volume. If the Blending
Chamber is filled near the MAX fill line, it will take more time to freeze.
Use the guide below to help decide how much time needed for your beverage:
•
1 L: 45 MIN
•
1.5 L: 50 MIN
•
2.8 L : 75 MIN
8.
Once your time is set, press the START/STOP button to begin slush production.
NOTE: Once slush production begins, you can add more liquid into the Blender
Chamber through the Ingredient Opening. Simply remove the Ingredient Opening
Cover and pour in your liquid. DO NOT exceed the MAX fill lines. NOTE: You can pause
slush production after it has begun by pressing the START/STOP button once.
9.
You can adjust the timer during slush production mode
using the PLUS (+) and MINUS (-) buttons.
