INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE – COBRA 2
Summary
This product is intended for use to protect and prevent against risks of falling from above in industry, in construction
work, in rescue and, more generally, for any application of work at a height.

Use
During user movement, the webbing [2] winds and unwinds on a reel inside the retractable device [1]. The webbing
is held constantly under tension by a re-winder spring. In the case of a fall, a mechanism locks the webbing and
[3] that reduces the braking force (<6 kN). Each
time you use the device, check the locking function by pulling hard on the webbing. Do not release the webbing
suddenly: guide it back by hand on to the re-winder reel inside the device. Check that the cable unwinds and rewinds
freely, with no obstruction. The swivel device [4] must be connected to a structural attachment point by means
of a connector EN 362 The anchor point must be in compliance with the EN795 standard and/or known to have
The end loop [5] must be connected to the fall

360. Cobra 2 can also be used in other cases with fall factors of up to 2. In any case the use as to EN360 with the
attachment point above the user is to be preferred, in order to reduce the fall distance and hence ensure greater
safety. (
). The connector-retractable fall arrester-connector system must never exceed a length of 2 m (with
the webbing completely extended) (

Use as to EN 360 (fall factor 0)
The structural attachment point to which the device is connected must be above the user (fall factor 0). To avoid any

In any case we suggest you reduce to a minimum the situations with fall factor 2, by keeping the attachment point
